SALES & TECHNICAL FIELD SUPPORT

Hishtil South Africa has a vacant position available at our Riebeek West Nursery in the Western Cape.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

  • Marketing of various seedlings & recruiting new business
  • Maintenance and support of the existing client basis
  • Sound communication with production team to ensure timeous delivery of seedlings to clients which are mostly farmers
  • Follow-up & support to the clients with the relevant information to establishing & growing of seedlings
  • The position will report to the National Sales Manager

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum qualification National Diploma Agriculture (or equivalent)
  • Relevant Marketing, sales & field support experience in the agricultural field will be advantageous
  • Reliable, proactive & energetic
  • Able to work independently & in teams
  • Fluent in both English & Afrikaans
  • Computer literate
  • Valid Code 8 drivers licence

MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBLE

Hishtil South Africa has a vacant position available at our Riebeek West Nursery in the Western Cape.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

  • Preventative Plant and Fleet Maintenance
  • Project Planning & Project Execution
  • Implementing Safety Procedures in the workplace
  • Guide the Maintenance team
  • Breakdown & Assistance
  • General upkeep of the Company Premises

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Gr 12 (extra qualifications will be an advantage
  • Proven maintenance experience
  • Computer Literacy (word, excel, power point)
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans: write and speak
  • Ability lead a team, delegate and follow up.
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Own Transport

  • Weekly execution of the Logistical Plan
  • Prepare seedlings for transport & delivery
  • Management of packing materials
  • Backload Coordination & Planning
  • Assist with Fleet Management
  • Managing and guidance of the Packing Team
  • Manage the Drivers Team
  • Ad Hock Tasks

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Experience in fleet coordination and management will be an advantage
  • Computer Literacy (word, excel, power point)
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans: write & speak
  • Ability to lead a team, delegate & follow up.
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Own Transport

Hishtil South Africa has a vacant position available at our Riebeek West Nursery in the Western Cape.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

  • Commercial seedling production according to international quality standards
  • Daily planning and implementation of irrigation and pest control program
  • Guide and manage the irrigation team
  • Maintain and operate growing supporting systems
  • Conduct seedling production trials

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • A tertiary Qualification in agriculture or horticulture
  • Experience in intensive vegetable farming will be an advantage
  • Computer Literacy (word, excel, power point)
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans: write and speak
  • Ability to lead a team, delegate and follow up.
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Own Transport
