Founded in 1974, Hishtil is a company with an excellent reputation in the nursery and agricultural industry.

Bringing international experience and world class nursery technology to South Africa, the first phase of Hishtil South Africa was established in 2007 in Mooketsi, Limpopo.
The second nursery facility has been established in Riebeek Wes in the Western Cape and started operating in 2014.

With the vision of becoming a leading and innovative nursery firm, the primary business of Hishtil is the production of grafted and regular vegetable seedlings.

Being the market leader in the world of advanced horticultural nurseries, the company is constantly developing unique technologies and production protocols in order to keep up with the ever changing market demands.

ACCREDITATION & CERTIFICATION

Hishtil SA is the first nursery in SA to achieve GlobalGAP certification. This means Hishtil SA complies with market requirements and assures that customers have peace of mind with this regard.

GlobalGAP sets a standard for the certification of agricultural produce across the globe. Shlomo Zuker, who heads up Hishtil SA says “GlobalGap uplifts the whole industry.
